Modular Design Concept
The SMP Switchgear system is a modular concept based on the "building blocks" principle, which means that cubicles are produced in series. As a result, the modular SMP concept meets the highest technical standards in a rational, economically sound way. The combination of cubicles is unlimited. Very complex diagrams of distribution and transformer switchgear can be compiled through this extensive spectrum of possibilities. The semi-compact cubicles are particularly beneficial if the available space should pose a problem or if economical factors play an important role. Compartments also contain all functional interlocks which allows for effortless application, according to all current standards, and which allows installation in consumer work spaces. As a result, capacity loss will be minimal. Additionally, the compartments have been fitted with a system for pressure release which shields the user from the consequences of an internal arc.

Standards and Specifications
The switchgear complies with the standards of IEC60298,GB3906,DL404 etc.
Enclosure protection degree of switchgear is IP4X, protection degree is IP2X when the door of VCB room is open and the trolly is be drew out.

Performance bearing inside fault arc
SMP Switchgear has been considered with the problem of inside fault arc in switchgear on design. It is tested strictly according to GB3906 and IEC298, thus ensure effectively the safety of equipment and operator.

General Structure of SMP-12 Switchgear
3.1 Basic structure(Figure3/1)
The basic structure of switchgear panel comprises the panel itself a removing part. The panel and main components can see in figure 3/1.Incoming-line panel or outgoing-line panel are diagram of basic switchgear panel,there are other derivative diagram,for example ,contact panel or metering panel .in addition,There are so many diagram of the switchgear panel with stationary type load switch,(SF6)VCB trolly,VC trolly,Disconnect trolly. The panel has two maintenance modes. That is single-face maintenance and double-face maintenance. The detail of structure and main components, can reference order document.

3.3 Compartments in switchgear
3.3.1 VCB Compartment
The vacuum circuit breaker trolly is installed in the breaker compartment with guide rails and can be moved between two different positions of operation, test,isolation. While the trolly move from service position to test/ isolation position, The movable door automatically covers the stationary contacts and opens in the opposite direction. The trolly can be operated when the compartment door is closed. Through the observation window on the door, you can see the position of the trolley, the ON (breaker closed)/OFF (breaker open) button on the trolley, Closed and open status indicators and charged/discharged status indicators.
VCB trolly
The trolly can be moved by manual. The structure of the trolly is made of the steel, the VCB and other equipment are installed on top of it. The arm of spring bush is installed on the pillar of the VCB,acts as an electrical connection when the trolley is inserted into the operating position. Signal, protection and control lines between the trolley and the switchgear, connected with a plug. The trolly is fixed on the test position as soon as it is pushed into the switchgear, and be connection to tgrounding of the switchgear. The location of the trolley can be seen through the observation window or the trolley electrical position indicator mounted on the panel of the low voltage compartment.
In addition to vacuum circuit breakers, the handcart can be equipped with vacuum contactors, isolation devices and metering equipment.
Bus bar compartment
The busbars are connected from one switchgear to another and are secured by branch busbars and bushings. The rectangular branch busbar is directly bolted to the main busbar without any coupling clamps. All bus bars and branch bus bars are covered with heat shrink tubing. The bushing plate and bushing isolate the busbar between the cabinets and have a supporting function. This support is generally required for switchgear with high electrical stress.
Cable compartment
Current transformers and earthing switches are installed at the rear of the cable compartment. Lightning arresters can also be installed in the cable compartment. When the cable compartment door is opened, there is enough space for construction personnel to enter the cabinet to install cables (up to 6 cables can be connected in parallel). The bottom plate covering the cable entrance can be made of non-magnetic stainless steel plate. Sewn, removable, easy on-site operation. The opening of the reducing sealing ring that passes through the primary and secondary cables in the bottom plate should be adapted to the installed cables to prevent small animals from entering.
For cable trenches with high humidity, it is recommended to seal the switchgear with fireproof mud and epoxy resin.
Low-voltage compartment
The secondary components of the switch cabinet are installed in the low-voltage room and on the door. The control wire trough has ample space and has a cover plate. The left wire trough is used to arrange the wires going in and out of the cabinet, and the right wire trough is used to lay the internal connection of the switch cabinet. There are control wire crossing holes on the side plate of the low-voltage room to control the connection of the power supply.
